Obituary: "Funeral services for Waldo Herman Dammann, 74, of Round Lake, Mn., and formerly of the Estherville and Milford area, were held Wednesday, Dec. 4, 1985 at the First Presbyterian Church in Round Lake, Mn., with the Rev. Ernest Nielsen officiating.

"Casketbearers were Robert DeJong, James Leckband, Thomas Lubben, Donald Malenke, David Thompson and Glen A. Swanson. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery in Terril.

"He passed away on Monday, Dec. 2, 1985 at the Worthington Regional Hospital in Worthington, Mn.

"Waldo was born April 10, 1911 at Grimes, Iowa to Herman and Maude (Anderson) Dammann. His family moved to the Emmetsburg and Estherville area, where he farmed with his family until his marriage to Eva Stephas Glover on Nov. 4, 1954 in Terril. Following their marriage, they settled on a farm in the Estherville and Milford area. In 1961, they moved to Minnesota, where they settled in Indian Lake Twp. in Nobles County. Waldo served on the ASC Board, township committee, was the elder in the church and belonged to various other organizations.

"Waldo is survived by his wife, Eva, two step-sons, Duane Glover of Harris and Dean Mohr of Devils Lake, N.D.; sisters, Vera Fredrick of Superior, Louise Dammann and Elizabeth Hickey, both of Emmetsburg; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

"He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Harold, and two stepsons, Dale and Darrel Glover."4,3

BurialHe was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Terril, Dickinson County, Iowa, USAG.
