Basil last lived in Springfeild, York County, New Brunswick.1

DeathCecil Gerald Porter died on 5 May 1955 in Provincial Hospital, Lancaster (Saint John), Saint John County, New Brunswick, CanadaG. cause of death was cerebral haemorrhage caused by an aneurysm of a cerebral vessel (Frohlich's Syndrome), and was also in a paranoid state.
