Don lives in Maplewood MN. He worked for the Burlington NorthernRailroad (the parent company of the GN, NP, CBQ and SPS) for 34 yearsat age 55. He retired in 1981. Since retirement, he has driven aschool bus for 17 years. Don served in the navy ia a destroyer escort vessel. He is now lookingafter the reporter and custodian of the surviving group of his ship. He plays in a big band in Minneapolis. They play at the Wabasha StreetCaves.¹
