DYKEMAN, ROY CLAREMONT - The death of Roy C. Dykeman, age 82, husband of Mary (Gibb) Dykeman, of Jemseg, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB, on Saturday, August 17, 2002. Roy was the son of the late Charles and Muriel (Elgee) Dykeman. Roy is survived by his beloved wife, son Burton and Beth Dykeman, New Maryland; daughter Barbara and Arnold Thorne, Sussex; five grandchildren, Trevor Thorne, Tori Ann Thorne, Terry Thorne, Debbie Dykeman, Donna Dykeman; one great grandson Jessie Curtis Thorne; two brothers, Earl and Daphane Dykeman of ON, Elmer and Doreen of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Connie (Smith) Dykeman. Visiting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Jemseg Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment in adjoining cemetery. Donations to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.2
