"She is survived by her son, Lloyd Jameson of Bismarck, N.D.; brothers, James and Robert Schurman, both of Beaverton; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Beaverton. Private burial will be in Crescent Grove Cemetery in Tigard."(The Oregonian, 21 Dec. 1983.)9

"Grant county's second traffic fatality of 1956 was Miss Barbara Adel Morrow, 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Todd Morrow of Long Creek, who was killed about 1 a.m. today on highway 395 about eight miles south of Dale.

"Miss Morrow and her sister Margaret, 19, were passengers in a 1949 Ford sedan driven by Richard Ernest Spath, 19, also of Long Creek. All three were riding in the front seat. The car failed to negotiate a curve, left the road, plunged down a 20-foot embankment and traveled 258 feet before coming to a stop, according to investigating officers. Barbara Morrow was thrown through the windshield and landed 36 feet in front of the car.

"Grant county's second traffic fatality of 1956 was Miss Barbara Adel Morrow, 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Todd Morrow of Long Creek, who was killed about 1 a.m. today on highway 395 about eight miles south of Dale.

"Miss Morrow and her sister Margaret, 19, were passengers in a 1949 Ford sedan driven by Richard Ernest Spath, 19, also of Long Creek. All three were riding in the front seat. The car failed to negotiate a curve, left the road, plunged down a 20-foot embankment and traveled 258 feet before coming to a stop, according to investigating officers. Barbara Morrow was thrown through the windshield and landed 36 feet in front of the car.
