In 1948 she married Warren Nisbet of Tyne Valley. They moved to Toronto where Emeline's sister Ruth Moase lived. Emeline worked for Dr. MacDonald, a bone specialist, for approximately thirty years and had recently retired.

Funeral service was held at Scott Funeral Home Chapel, Mississauga, Ontario. Interment at Glendale Memorial Gardens."2
