Name Variation Jonathan Hart is also known as Jonathan Hartt. 
Birth*He was born on 2 November 1710 in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. in her book entitled The St. John River and its Tributaries, Esther Clark Wright wrote that Jonathan was born in Maugerville, New Brunswick. This is unlikely as he and the family didn't move to New Brunswick until 1760.2 
He was the son of Samuel Hart and Sarah Endicott
Marriage*Jonathan Hart married Mercy Hawks in 1735.3,2 
Emigration*Jonathan Hart emigrated circa 1760 from Lynnfield, Massachusetts; "Mr. Jonathan Hart went from Lynnfield, Mass., about the year 1760, to Maugerville, Sunbury County, New Brunswick, with four sons, Thomas, John, Samuel and Aaron Hart." Jonathan Hart owned land and tenements in Lynn at the time he went to Maugerville, New Brunswick, which were sold by Thomas Hart of Lynn, 20 June 1768, as shown by deed recorded at Salem, Massachusetts, Book 125, Page 159.
