The late Mrs. Clark had been suffering for the past seven weeks with a severe attack of blood poisoning, and just when everything looked bright for her recovery she contracted congestion and passed away on Tuesday afternoon, at the early age of 28 years. The funeral service was held at the home of the deceased, the Rev. Mr. Ayers officiating. A large gathering of friends came to pay their last respects and the remains were taken to the Peoples' Cemetery at Kensington. Pallbearers were: Messrs. Robert Baker, Davis Moase, Frank Yeo, Heath Clark, J. Earle Schurman and Major Moase. She leaves besides a sorrowing husband, three small children: Audrey, Georgie and Ewen."2,1 |
