In the 1890's (sic) he married Mary Waugh and farmed a portion of his father's farm at Park Corner. He was also known as a shipbuilder and was referred to as Esquire. William and Mary were members of the Church of England and had five children, John C., James Waugh, Eliza, Archibald and Rachel".1
