Will*Thomas Turney Sr. left a will on 22 April 1840; He made his will and it was proved April 22, 1840. It was witnessed by Charles and George Estabrooks. He left his farm to his son Thomas Jr. and bequests to his sons, Amasa, David and Nelson, and his daughters, Martha, Mary, Jerusha, Lavina, Elizabeth, Jane, Margaret and Ann, who were evidently married. Amasa and Nelson are thought to have moved to Carleton County.
