On July 3rd, 1925,she married Archie Hie at the Haldon Farm near Deveron. Gwen was activein the Kirkfield Ladies Aid, Moffat United Church Women and the Red CrossSociety. She loved animals and enjoyed knitting crafts of various kinds. This account was taken from her obituary in the Grenfell Sun Newspaperdated June 1992.
