A good old man has gone to rest, leaving to miss the companionship which existed well over the half-century mark his widow and several children, one of whom, Emma, remained at home with her parents.

The funeral took place on Sunday from his late residence, service at the house being conducted by Rev. Ralph Barker, who was assisted by Rev. D. F. Fraser. The pallbearers were Messrs. Walter Hogg, Fred Moyse, Ralph Callbeck, Howard Schurman, Smith Sherrin and Rufus Bagnall."2,3
