Birth*Christopher Richardson was born in 1835 in Midgic, Westmorland County, New Brunswick.1,2
He was the son of John Providence Richardson and Catherine Sears.1
(First) Marriage*Christopher Richardson married first Mary Anderson.1
(Witness) Census HeadHouseholdChristopher Richardson was enumerated on the census of 1861 in the household of John Providence Richardson in Westmorland Parish, Westmorland County, New Brunswick. Included in the household with John (age 57) were his wife Catherine Sears (age 53), children Joseph (age 20), Sarah (age 22), Leonard (age 16), Clarinda (age 14), John (age 12), Stewart (age 9), Herbert (age 6), Christopher (age 26), his wife Mary Anderson (age 25), their son Bedford (age 5). John and his son Joseph were farmers and millers, Christopher was recorded as a tenant farmer. The family religion was Baptist.3

Included in the household with Christopher (age 29) were his wife, Mary Anderson (age 27), their children, Bedford (age 16), Ammi (age 14) and Albert E. (age 5). Christopher was a farmer & miller. Bedford and Ammi were in school. The family religion was Baptist.4
(Second) Marriage*He married second Victoria Glennie, daughter of James Glennie and Rosanna, on 2 May 1877 in Fort Lawrence, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Christopher was widowed, Victoria was single.1,2

Also in the household were Mary Glennie (age 87) and Jane Glennie (age 35). MAry and Jane Glennie were both born in Nova Scotia, as was Victoria. Because of the closeness in age between Victoria and Jane, I assume that they are sisters. On Christopher and Victoria's marriage certificate the mother of Victoria was recorded as Rosanna Glennie. I assume that Mary Glennie in this census might be the second wife of Victoria's father James Glennie.5
Census HeadHouseholdHe was head of the household in the census of 1 May 1891 in Sackville, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada. Included in the household with Christopher (age 57) were his wife Victoria Glennie (age 48), daughters Bessie (age 19) and Carlotta (age 11). Also in the household was M. Death*He died on 20 April 1921, in Moncton Hospital, Moncton, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada; cause of death was from a fracture to his thigh, after ten days, with old age being a contributing factor. Christopher was a widower, living in Humphreys Mills, at the time of his death. His death certificate recorded that he lived in Humphreys Mills only two weeks before his accident, and lifetime in the province of New Brunswick. He was a mill owner of a sawmill, from 1870 to 1900. He was a carpenter doing housework from 1900 to 1915. The informant for his death certificate was his grandson, Albert E. Richardson.
