Dyer came tohallock Hill in 1810 and bought land between Millers and Bakers, near thefoot of the hill. There on the Baker Brook he built and operated atannery. Daniel came later to Peru; he named his eldest son ELEAZER. TheHistory of Peru shows that he arrived there in 1819. And the graveyardnear Berlin, Rennselaer Co., NY shows 'Sarah, wife of Daniel Arnold d.Nov. 20, 1819 ae. 51.'
